Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all ticket purchases made through PartyNest ("PartyNest", "we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing a ticket on PartyNest, you agree to this policy.

PartyNest operates as a ticketing platform facilitating access to Events organized by independent Hosts. Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances described below.

1. Cancellation Window & General Policy

You may cancel a confirmed booking and request a refund of the ticket amount (less any non-refundable platform/service fees) up to 72 hours before the Event start time. Cancellation requests can be made from your account or by emailing support@partynest.fun. Approved cancellation refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Because of limited event capacity and advance planning requirements, once this cancellation window has closed (within 72 hours of the Event start time), ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.

Within the 72-hour window before an Event, users cannot cancel for a refund due to personal circumstances including but not limited to:

  • change of plans
  • illness or health issues
  • travel or transportation problems
  • personal schedule conflicts

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds are issued only under the following conditions:

(a) Event Cancelled by Host

If the Host cancels the Event for any reason, 100% of the ticket amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

(b) Event Cancelled by PartyNest

If PartyNest cancels an Event due to safety concerns, policy violations, fraud risk, or verification issues, attendees will receive a full refund.

(c) Wrongful Denial of Entry

If an attendee:

  • arrives within permitted entry time
  • complies with Event rules
  • meets age/KYC requirements

but is denied entry due to verified Host error (e.g., overcrowding beyond listed capacity), PartyNest may issue a refund after review and validation of evidence.

Refund decisions in such cases are made at PartyNest's reasonable discretion.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • failure to attend the Event ("no-show")
  • late arrival where entry windows apply
  • denial due to impairment or disruptive behavior
  • denial due to invalid or missing ID/KYC
  • violation of Event or venue rules
  • dissatisfaction with Event experience, music, crowd, or venue

4. Event Changes

Minor changes to Events (including venue layout, lineup adjustments, or timing shifts within reasonable limits) do not qualify for refunds.

5. Force Majeure

Refunds are not guaranteed where Event disruption or cancellation occurs due to circumstances beyond Host or PartyNest control, including:

  • government restrictions
  • law enforcement action
  • natural disasters
  • weather events
  • public safety risks

In such cases, PartyNest may determine refund or credit options at its discretion.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

Actual credit timing depends on bank or payment provider processing cycles.

7. Platform Fees

Where permitted by law, PartyNest service or platform fees may be non-refundable even when ticket value is refunded.

8. Refund Requests & Disputes

Voluntary cancellation requests must be submitted at least 72 hours before the Event start time (see Section 1).

Claims relating to event cancellation by the Host/PartyNest or wrongful denial of entry must be submitted within 48 hours of the Event start time.

9. Payment Gateway Compliance

All refunds are processed in accordance with applicable payment-gateway rules and Indian regulations. Users agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting PartyNest for resolution.
